About Rebecca

Rebecca grew up in a small town in New York filling journal pages with stories. She studied at a lycée in southern France and earned a degree in French and creative writing from Loyola University in Maryland. Rebecca holds an MA from the Graduate Program in International Affairs at the New School University in NYC. The research she conducted for her master’s thesis with the Identity Archive of the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires inspired her debut novel, The Disappeared.

Rebecca works as a chief human resources officer and serves as a board member of Fe League and Dress for Success Tampa Bay. She is a longtime sponsor of Women for Women International and a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association and the Florida Writers Association. She lives in Florida with her family, where she continues to write stories.
